Who’s Watching?

This little guy is going to base everything he does on what we do.  If we are happy, so is he, if we are filled with stress and anxiety so is he.  If we behave badly, he will too…

Are there folks watching what you do?

This question might lead some to think that anybody watching them is looking for something to find fault with, and this can be true sometimes, but more often it is someone looking for behavior to imitate.  Do your co-workers know that you are a Christian?  They are going to notice how you behave, and if they can’t see a difference in your demeanor, your Christian testimony won’t count for much in their eyes.

If you are respected by your brothers and sisters in Christ and your behavior is weak, what conclusions will they draw?

If your life is lived in imitation of Christ, at least to the best of your ability, you will be a leader who inspires others to be better people.  As we all know, this is what we are called to do…

If we look at what is going on all around the world these days, we will quickly see that there are millions who want to change the world, either for good or for ill.  Just imagine what would happen if all Christians really made a prayerful effort to truly model the behavior that Christ demonstrated for us; His love, His care and concern, and His earnest desire to do God’s will.  Would there be an unstoppable movement for good in the world?

My bet is that God’s glory would be apparent for all to see.
