Today I’m heading out on a road trip… well more like a train trip. We’re off to see a new grandson in southern Illinois, and I’ll be doing a conference and a leadership class there as well. So, I’ll be away from my computer for several days. I’ll try to check in periodically, but if past experience is any indication, I don’t usually do very well logging in on mobile devices; everything is way too small.
Naturally, we picked a departure date that included the biggest winter storm in years in these parts, but they say the trains are still running, even though the planes aren’t flying. How we’ll actually get to Union Station remains a mystery, but where there’s a will, there’s a way, right? I’ve always wanted to take a train trip!
I’ve scheduled a post for tomorrow on 3 John, and then the blog will be “dark” until I return, but while I’m gone I’ll be thinking and praying for all of you as you minister to each other in love on your blogs. Hopefully when I return, I’ll have some new blogging ideas myself…
May God bless all of you!
Don
I will pray that you have a safe trip.
Thank you!
Travel is a means of learning and going by train is a great way to meet others. My daughter and I traveled by train and enjoyed moving around…enjoy your trip. 🙂
Very true, thanks!
I hope you are enjoying your visit. Have a blessed day. 🙂
Enjoy the train ride. Praying for safe travels. Hmmn… a trainride would be nice.

Hey Paul! Yep, borrowed a computer, wrote a post and now walking back through the snow. I think the preacher here needs his computer back!

You two kids better behave yourselves!

All aboard! I hope you don’t end up in Hogwarts!
No we didn’t. Ended up back in the Land of Lincoln
Let us know how the train goes – I loved it in Australia, but gave heard not so positive things about Amtrak – please tell me differently!
I’ll post on that in a bit… Amtrak did fine
Happy trails. Safe journey with God going with you all:))
