‘Reflections on Galatians’ Released

Today I’m pleased to announce, relieved actually, that “Reflections on Galatians” is available for download from my website.  As I was going through it again, I was really impressed with how well it goes with our just completed study of James, not to mention Hebrews.

Paul really hits home with how new all things are in Christ, so different from the old ways of doing things, and more importantly the old way of thinking about things. When studied in conjunction with James, it amazed me how little we have learned in all these years!

Here was Paul giving the Galatians a scathing rebuke for turning back to the old manner of doing things, allowing themselves to be brought back to a legal basis for their thinking, and then turning to James and seeing him do the same thing in a different way… and then reflecting on how most people in our time seem to make the same errors in thinking; there’s nothing new under the sun!

Well we don’t need to allow ourselves to get in this old trap, do we? I hope you enjoy going through Galatians again.  Like the previous “Reflections” Galatians is free of charge, you may use it, share it, rip it off or toss it in the can, but please don’t sell it, that would be so tacky.

You can download here or on the sidebar link.

Next, i plan to adapt Hebrews, but I have it in mind to do it a bit differently. It will be more work, so be patient!

  4. Thank you for your ministry ~ any plans for the Book of Job, minor prophets, or Revelations ?

Thanks! At this point, no i don’t have any plans for those. I’ve thought a little about Revelation once or twice, but I doubt I’d do it any time soon. I’m thinking it’s about time to do one of the gospels…
