There and Back Again

We’re back from our little adventure in Jamaica; boy was I thrilled to walk home from the Metro through a rain and snow mix after spending a week on tropical beaches! :/20141124_094405-SMILE

We had a wonderful time, met some really great people from across the US, Canada and the UK, not to mention Jamaica, had a few little adventures, like cutting my foot on a sharp rock in the ocean (a cut and salt water don’t mix that well) getting stung by a bee and going for a catamaran ride in heavy choppy seas (that was a blast). Of course just observing the behavior of human beings letting their hair down can generate a few little anecdotes that probably don’t belong on this particular blog, but I’m sure you can imagine… Β Good food, music and amazing scenery; wonderful week.

Well, I won’t bore you with a “what i did for summer vacation,” but there is one particular moment I’ll share with you tomorrow that fits in nicely with what this blog is all about. In the meantime, I can’t help but notice that my dear readers left me gobs of comments to get caught up on today; thank you! And there are chores to be done around here, so yah mon, off I go for now mon…
