Join us on a journey through life following Jesus Christ. Our journey of life is an adventure of discovery that is both exciting and challenging. It is a discovery of clear and simple faith that comes from the a clear and simple understanding of the Word of God.
No, we aren't perfect, we are works in progress. There's no judging, no guilt and no condemnation here, just perspectives on life and truth as we work on our Project to become a little more like Him every day.
The Life Project is an award free zone. Oh, don't get me wrong, I appreciate the thought more than you can imagine, but for me it's a matter of conviction, the Lord leading me... or maybe managing me! Your visits, "likes" comments and "follows" are more than enough... really!
Beautiful, especially the blue of the sky!
Thanks; yes it was a gorgeous day when I took this one, quite a contrast to the winter storm that blew in overnight; the next day I was taking pictures in an ice storm…
My husband and I visited Montpelier on our honeymoon … almost 21 years ago. Neat place! I still remember how short the beds were. Madison was a very small man. 😉 The gardens were lovely in June, though. 🙂
The first time I visited back in the 70’s there was a dirt road, peacocks running around, and a big modern mansion built around the old house; quite a different place. They’ve done a fantastic job of renovation since then. Had it been renovated when you were there?
Well, I’m not sure. But, the place looked amazing so I’m thinking it must’ve been. I love historical sites! Mt. Vernon is my #1 favorite! (I grew up just outside of D.C.) 😉
Mt. Vernon is mine too; I always got the annual pass when I lived there…
