    34 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!
    35 Look, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'”

  3. So you noticed. Most people miss it. The donkey and mule were the ride of kings. All through the O.T. you see it if you watch for it. Sometimes they were white sonkeys. David told Solomon after he declared him king to ride his (David’s) mule through the streets of Jerusalem so people would know he was now their king. So, Jesus riding on a donkey was stating, “I am your king.” The humility part came when he rode the colt instead of the full-grown donkey.
