  3. The Jews were a proud and egotistical people. God chose them and no one else. Nah, nee, nah, nee, nah, nee. Even when they decided to accept Jesus, they declared a person had to become a Jew first before he could be a Christian. Paul was dragging them kicking and screaming out of the Old Covenant. How hard it was for them to give it up. He loved his people so. It was like breaking someone of their heroine addiction. You’re a good explainer of this very deep book.
