  1. I’ve always had a hard time with this one, not because of the taxes, but because of government being God’s servants. Paul had Nero, we had Hitler, hard to believe either was a servant of God.

    Amen. I think you’re absolutely right on that one!

    Also, on bad leaders, God seems to be pretty reckless in this regard. He used Nebuchadnezzar as His servant (Jer.25:9), and even let him write a chapter in the Bible! (Dan. 4) He certainly doesn’t seem to have our control issues. 🙂

  4. I agree Don! We have to stop criticizing and blaming the authorities of this world and be the difference. I like what you stated about paying taxes, or to submit to the authorities; that is why they were put into Earth. It is also true that although human government is ordained by God, it exists under a corrupted world and system. Thank you for sharing!
