  1. This brings back something that has always confused me: why is it sometimes Jesus Christ, and sometimes Christ Jesus? Strictly a matter of choice, or is there a decision process behind it? Does it have different meanings based on the sequence of the name and title?

Who knows for sure? Just bear in mind that “Christ” is a title, not a name, strictly speaking. Is there a real difference between saying Jesus Messiah, and Messiah Jesus? I’m thinking in English now but, one seems a descrition while the other seems a title or form of address… but I could be way off 🙂
