Jesus didn’t just die for us He also arose from the grave on the third day. We didn’t just die with Him to sin we also rose again from the waters of Baptism to live a new life: We are a new creation!
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”
(2Corinthians 5:17)
The old life is gone, the old ways are gone, we no longer follow our own way; we follow God’s ways. Everything is new…
Will we continue to live at odds with God even after He has forgiven us? Or will we live a new, clean and fresh life in Christ?
This is the choice that is ever before us, and it will determine how fulfilling our lives will be. Jesus rose from the grave because the grave couldn’t hold Him. Shall we return to a spiritual grave and miss out of the wonders of this new life?
May it never be so!
